“Holding you Close”
Samarel is a digital erotic artist known for his
distinctive style and erotically charged images of sexuality. He is an
experienced graphic designer of over 15 years with work appearing on many book
covers, CD’s, theatre posters, calendars and brochures. His works includes
digital portraits, portraits on canvas and his most personal and unfinished cyber-erotica
comic, Aliena. This photographs background is a bed with intricate detail of
the sheets. The warmer colors of the outside of the picture bring an intense
focus to the bodies in the photograph. The woman’s face is completely covered
by the man’s arms displaying his affection towards her. The woman’s legs are tightly
connected around the man’s body showing her intense desire and connection. The
use of color is intriguing and adds overall dimension and emotion. I chose this
photograph because it shows the raw act of sex which is an expression of love.
